Charity Drive

Episode Guide:

After finding out that the company car has been secretly in use by the family, Michael declares that he's going to drive it because he's president of the company and that's the way it should be. Thanks to their lack of consideration, there's a large nail-polish stain on the dash, a boulder in the back seat, and burn marks on the ceiling.

Michael and Lindsay try to prove their charitable sides to each other. Lindsay goes out to help clean up the wetlands, which ends in disaster while Michael ends up scaring the living daylights out of a hispanic woman he assumed was his mother's housekeeper.

Amongst all this, Gob demands George Michael's respect and free bananas at the now-rebuilt stand. After confronting Michael on this matter, he ends up giving away the rights to Mister Bananagrabber, a character he made up on the spot in his negotiations. Buster accidentally bids $10,000 on Lucille 2 during a charity auction instead of his mother, leading to further complications in his life.

Quotes

George Sr.: I'm under a lot of pressure here. I'm trying to get my newsletter off the ground. I'm trying to decide which gang to align myself with."

Michael: Is it pledge week already?"

George Sr.: I've got it down to two. But honestly, I don't even want to choose. I just feel ... I feel like the prettiest girl at the dance.

Gob: But I'll tell you what. If you want to use my likeness for a Hamburglar-type character, I'll sign off on that. "Mr. Bananagrabber" or something.

Michael: Come on, face it. You just do all this charity crap just to stroke your ego. You don't even know what the auction's for tonight.

Lindsay: The wetlands.

Michael: To do what with them?

Lindsay: Dry them.

Michael: Save them.
